Welcome to Hockey Now!, Central Florida’s home for Hockey Talk! Hockey Now! is a new show on the iHeartRadio network based in Orlando, FL! Bryan Sklover and Walt Bacon turn their mic’s on together for the first time to talk hockey! The guys remember the Orlando Solar Bears playoff run of 2018 and look at the affiliation between the Solar Bears and Tampa Bay Lightning. We’ll hear comments from Lighting Head Coach Jon Cooper and Brayden Point on their thoughts playing in Orlando for a preseason matchup between the Lightning and Florida Panthers. Walt begs Former GM Steve Yzerman to stay involved with the team, and not flee to the potentially bad Detroit Red Wings. The guys round out the test show talking about the Carolina Hurricanes bringing back the Hartford Whalers uniforms (along with a gratiutious playing of the “Brass Bonanza”) – and also touch on their own personal favorite teams, Bryan’s New York Rangers and Walt’s Chicago Blackhawks.
