Episode 12 – OSB D Kevin Lohan, RawCharge.com’s Matt Esteves and IGGY!

(4:37) Kevin Lohan, Solar Bears Defenseman, calls in from the Bus as the team travels to South Carolina for their weekend games against the Stingrays. We talk about Kevin’s first goal with the Solar Bears and his take on the team’s weekend series vs. the Norfolk Admirals. Lohan shares a glimpse into his Youth in Hockey, from his roots in Long Island, NY – through to his College Hockey at BC.

Andrei Vasilevskiy carries some important statistics to prove his worth as the Lightning Goaltender, and Matt offers his thoughts of the overall confidence in the team, from Fans, Players and Coaches. What to look for in the 2nd half of the season and the possibility of Trade Deadline activity!

(38:16) IGGY!!! Jerome Iginla is set to have his number retired by the Calgary Flames after his 16 year career there. Walt and Bryan remember Iggy’s most memorable moments. There won’t be another World Cup of Hockey anytime soon, is it a sign of bad things to come? It’s finally here! THE TRADE DEADLINE CHATTER!!!

Episode 11 – Solar Bears Forward Trevor Olson, The Lightning Train, and the awful Rangers!

3:16 – Orlando Solar Bears Forward Trevor Olson joins Hockey Now, after their 5-2 loss to Norfolk. Olson shares his thoughts on the Solar Bears recent schedule and the impact that AHL Call-Ups has had on their team. Also, Trevor tells Bryan and Bacon about his Amateur Hockey experience, including his National Championship won with North Dakota, and some of the NHL-caliber teammates he’s had in his career!

21:04 – This week’s Lightning segment starts with a clip from Bolts defensemen Ryan McDonagh explaining how the teams one loss to San Jose last weekend inspired the team to bounce back with a dominating effort vs. Columbus. Nikita Kucherov achieves yet another milestone in this years season, and we discuss what the Lightning could do to improve. Spoiler alert: they’re already very damn good!

32:10 – Bryan’s patience and understanding with the New York Rangers has finally come to a head. What is the key problem with the Rangers this year, and can the team move along from fan favorites with ease? The NHL Trade Deadline is quickly approaching, and targets are finally being named! Who are the players with most value coming up to the deadline, and which teams will be in the market for upgrades. Also, some quick hit headlines around the league.

Episode 10 – Coach Berehowsky, The Tampa Bay All Stars, and The Outdoor NHL!

Head Coach Drake Berehowsky talks about his Orlando Solar Bears in the new year and recaps the season to date. Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov were named to the Atlantic Division All Star Team for the upcoming NHL All Star activities in San Jose and Kuch is the NHL’s 1st Star for the Month of December. The NHL announced the outdoor games for next season, as well as the All-Star Rosters for this year’s game, but one Superstar opts not to go!

The Tampa Bay Lightning – 10 Points Clear and 2 All Stars!

Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov were named to the Atlantic Division All Star Team for the upcoming NHL All Star activities in San Jose, but who else from the team could have been named?! Bryan and Bacon discuss the players who were snubbed, and cover Kuch being named the NHL’s 1st Star for the Month of December. Is there something negative to be pointed out in the Lightning at this time?

Episode 8 – Martin Ouellette, Power Up Lightning and Walt’s Hawks!

Goaltender Martin Ouellette joins to talk about his career and his time with the Orlando Solar Bears. The Tampa Bay Lightning have won 7 in a row…and oh…they’re getting their All-Star Goaltender back. Jonathan Toews gets his 700th point in the NHL, and Bacon gets his time to talk Hawks. And then there’s Weezer at the Winter Classic, but Bryan isn’t happy about it.

Orlando Solar Bears Goaltender Martin Ouellette!

Martin Ouellette, goaltender with the Orlando Solar Bears, returns to the team after being called up to Syracuse and gets his 100th pro win! Marty joins Bryan and Bacon to talk about reaching career milestones, his reasoning to opt for playing College Hockey over Juniors in Canada, and he also shares some insight into his last season in Florida, one where he played in Game 7 of the Kelly Cup Finals.

The Tampa Bay Lightning – the thunder…still…rolls

What’s there to say about the Tampa Bay Lightning? They’re big and strong, have won 7 in a row…and oh…they’re getting their All-Star Goaltender back. Bryan and Bacon discuss what’s next for the team and what the effect of Andrei Vasilevskiy returning has. Louie Domingue was the NHL’s 2nd star of the week and there is NO discussion about the New York Rangers visit to Tampa recently.

Episode 7 – Drake Berehowsky, The 4-0 Bolts and the Seattle Expansion!

Orlando Solar Bears Head Coach Drake Berehowsky talks about naming Mike Monfredo as team Captain and the effect Brady Shaw and Curt Gogol have on the team. The Tampa Bay Lightning are enjoying a 4-0 record since our last show, and the key to the Lightning success! The NHL announced expansion to Seattle, bringing the league to 32 teams. What the rivalry situation will be for the divisions after re-configuring, William Nylander and Maple Leafs, Forbes, Quick hits, and more!

The Tampa Bay Lightning are enjoying a 4-0 record since our last show, and it seems Bryan may have found the key to the Lightning success this season so far! The Bolts are in the drivers seat through the first part of the season, but as the year is set to turn soon, the Playoffs grow closer, and the team has to be ready for a major benchmark…the Trade Deadline. Bryan and Bacon discuss what the team could plan to do in late February.

Episode 6 – Corbin Boes, Bolts haul of a season and Buffalo x10!

Orlando Solar Bears goaltender Corbin Boes talks about his young Pro Hockey career, and whether playing against former teammates offers an advantage to either player. The Bolts have 2 scorers in the Top 10 in the NHL points stats, and Bacon called it! Braydon Point and Nikita Kucherov lead the way for the Lightning, while the team plays goalie shuffle with their supporting cast as they await the return of Andrei Vasilevskiy. The Buffalo Sabres are incredibly good right now. Bryan loves it, Bacon…does not.
